Dr. Lang’s Chinese Bilingual School

Rules and Regulations

Parents of Dr. Lang’s Chinese Bilingual School are responsible for their child(ren) to observe all the rules and regulations of Dr. Lang’s Chinese Bilingual School. We reserve the right to dismiss an enrolled student 1) who performs, in any form, one severe harmful act that has caused injury to any other person or has caused severe property damages, 2) who has received three warnings from the school for a repeated violation of any of the following rules:

1. My child(dren) should respect the authority of all teachers, staff and administrators at all times.
2. My child(ren) should be willingly and submissively participating in class activities arranged and required by the teachers of this school.
3. My Child(ren) should dress appropriately and neatly: no high-heels, slippers, mini-skirts, house shorts, low-cut outfits are worn into this school.
4. My child/ren should take good care of school properties. A fine will be paid by me/us, when my child is found to be responsible for the loss or damage of any school item.
5. My child(ren) should not have such behaviors as running, screaming, climbing, hitting people, cursing, and calling names in this school. Appropriate disciplines will be exercised accordingly due to any of the above behaviors.
6. Without the company of our authorized adults including student’s parent, legal guardian, or CBS teacher and staff, my child(ren) should not go outside of the school building or go into any forbidden areas in this school.
7. My child(dren) should be responsible to have their own seatbelts tied at all times on the school bus. Talking loud, fighting, standing up or moving around are not allowed in the school bus. They should keep the bus clean. I’ll be responsible to pay the traffic ticket due to my child’s violation of the bus rules.
8. My child(dren) should not eat or drink out of the undesignated areas in this school. I will not give them chewing gums, sugar-high, nuts-contained, stimulating or any other types of foods/snacks that are deemed unhealthy by this school: they are not to be brought to be consumed, shared, traded and purchased with or by any other student.
9. My child(ren) should not bring non-educational books, games and toys into this school. They will not bring any books/magazines/videos/games/cards that contain in any forms violence, witchcraft and sex-stimulating language and scenes. Harry Potter’s books and super-hero-related books, toys, games and pictures are forbidden in this school. Purposeful violations may result in the confiscation of the item or a fine by this school.

I have read and understood the above rules and regulations and I am responsible to help Dr. Lang’s Chinese Bilingual School to enforce each of the rules above to my child/children. Should my child do any harm to others or cause any damages due to the violation of any of the above rules, I will take the full responsibility for its consequences. I will allow the “time-out” (e.g. sitting or standing in isolation “face-to-the wall” under supervision types of behavior corrections exercised by this school as a result of my child’s violation of the above rules.

WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I, ______________, as legal guardian of ____________，_______________, ______________ (Student names), hereby release Dr. Lang’s Chinese Bilingual School (including its administrators, teachers and staff) from any and all legal and financial responsibilities for minor and major accidents incurred by my child/children’s purposeful or accidental violation of school rules and regulations while participating in our school activities. I acknowledge that the participation of my child/children in these activities is of my own choice and I therefore assume all risks in connection thereto.
