• Pre-school: Beginning Level I, II

• Primary Readers: Level I, II, III, IV
• Advanced Readers：Level V, VI, VII, VIII

Placement and Promotion

Placement and Promotion to a higher level are determined according to the student’s mastery level of what each level requires.

ShangShuang Chinese Cultural Series (Chinese geography, history, literature, philosophy)

Instructional Content

• Recognition of 1800-2500 high-frequency words and phrases used in readings and literature and various other subjects
• Chanting, memorizing and reading intensively and extensively classic children’s songs, poems, stories and prose.
• Learning to write basic strokes, radicals and independent characters and compound characters.
• Learning to write sentences and paragraphing and short essays
• Chinese Romanization/Dictionary skills and computer entry of Chinese characters.
• Grammar and Creative Writing
• Oral and written translation skills
• Test Prep for YCT (Youth Chinese Test), HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test), SATII Chinese

All teachers are specially trained and certified through Dr. Lang’s Chinese Bilingual School Teacher Training Programs.

Art Classes
