Child Virtues is a Christian ministry that God has opened up to reach the Chinese children, especially those in China, by supplying Chinese parents and teachers with Bible-based children books both in English and in Chinese. The mission of this ministry is to teach the Chinese children Biblical virtues, so that they may begin to build up and develop godly characters in the early years of their life. The languages of these books will be simple, matching the age or grade levels of understanding for the Chinese children who are acquiring Chinese as their native language and English as the most important foreign language. All the Chinese characters (simplified) will be marked with PinYin (standard Mandarin Chinese pronunciation), which will help the children to identify the Chinese characters. The English translation will parallel the Chinese text to help them grasp the English language at an early age. These books will be beneficial for parents and teachers alike, who desire to train the Chinese children with Biblical virtues and to improve their language skills as well. It is our sincere hope and fervent prayer that the Holy Spirit will lead many Chinese parents and educators to the Biblical truth about our Creator God through reading and studying these books with their children. The second coming of Jesus Christ is at hand! God has called upon people
from all walks of life to spread the Gospel around the world. We are so
thankful that God has chosen us to reach the Chinese children at this
time through the work of this ministry. We understand that it is not because
we are able, but because God is able. The Bible tells us,
"..... God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good
work." 2 Cor. 9:8.

感谢上帝，开了〖童德〗这扇门，使中国儿童能通过〖童德〗的工作得以认识上帝，听到来自上天的德行教导。〖童德〗的首要工作是为中国父母及儿童教育工作者提供以圣经为依据的中英文故事图书，用圣经所倡导的人的最高美德基则训导中国儿童，使其从小养成敬虔上帝、施爱于人的伟大品格，成为社会之有用人材。
〖童德〗所编译及设计之图书皆以圣经人物故事为素材，内容健康，趣味性强，语言通俗易懂，使孩子从不同的圣经人物故事中得到优秀的道德熏陶。另外，根据当前中国人学英语的迫切要求，大部分书将是汉英对照，汉字则配有相应的汉语拼音，这样使学龄前及学龄期儿童都能得到中英文两种语言的词汇及阅读理解训练，是关心中国孩子健康成长的父母及儿童教育工作者值得一试的美德训导教材。
我们诚心希望并热切祷告，广大的中国父母及教育工作者能在圣灵的引领下，在与孩子一起阅读学习〖童德〗图书之时，也得以认识了解我们的造化主－上帝－的神圣品格，因为我们所教授孩子的圣经美德正是上帝本身之美德。
上帝正在召唤世界各地各行各业的人向世人广传福音。〖童德〗感谢主上帝为我们提供了这个为中国儿童服务的机会。我们之所以能得此机会，并不是因为我们本人有何能力，乃是上帝乐意在我们这些弱小之人身上显示他的神工大能。圣经上说，"上帝能将各样的恩惠多多地加给你们，使你们凡事常常充足，能多行各样善事。”哥林多后书9：8。 我们把设计及发行〖童德〗丛书的一切经济需要和来源都交于上帝手中，愿那些受上帝之灵感召的人为此工作慷慨解囊相助。也许，您就是其中之一位吧！

This outreach will present real-life stories illustrating how the biblical virtues we teach may be applied in your children's daily life. They will learn, from these stories, important moral functional skills to contribute to their own culture. I want to get ready for Jesus Christ! |
