Hi Terry,

These church members are extremely poor and have no means of coming up with the funds for themselves.  This is like the church that I solicited funds for in my wife's home province.  They had no means of building their church and others actually laughed at them for even trying to build one.  The are happy now because their church is on the way to being finished but they still need money also to complete there project.  This one is desperate as the rains come in June.  The amount is what they need so they can keep everything from disappearing in the rain.  The bricks here crumble if they are not covered over with plaster.  I will give the elders your email address and he will email you.  I have a new dilemma.  I twisted and possibly tore my ICL and need some diagnostic work.  I hope to get some work down for free at the sanatorium but they are not known to do that very easily.  I hope that I do not need an operation.  I was coming home on Friday and twisted it on a rock which they like to leave laying around on the roads around here.  The pain is not a picnic and I was unable to go to church on Sabbath for the only the second time since I have arrived the first time was when I had a temp of 104.  I do not know how much this will cost and I dread even finding out but I need to do something so I can get things going again.  The best way to get money to me is send it to me registered to

I hope all is well with you and yours and I look forward to your email.

Thanks Perry,

>What I need now is the church treasurer or church responsible person to contact me with a means of getting funds to the church for this project. Also have these church members raise any funds for themselves? If so what will be the remaining balance to come up with to provide the materials to put the roof in place before the rains come. By the way, when do the rains come to the Philippines?

>Also tell me one more time about how to get funds to you for your much needed support?

Ø                The Lord tells us just to ask and this is what this one church needs so that they can worship during the rainy season which is quickly approaching in June.  They will get the job done quickly once they have the material.  Hopefully they can receive funds to finish the church very soon.

Hi Terry,

I just wanted to let you know that there were some baptisms here this past week end and there will be some more this weekend and as a result of a short crusade that the Lord used me for 6 people had some seeds sown in them and have given their hearts to the Lord.  I just wanted to share that with you.  A friend of mine who is the elder in that small church which still need a roof told me about it this past Sabbath and I had the privilege of watching an older gentlemen who I encouraged every night to give his heart back to the Lord to come back and he did.  He gave up smoking and was weeping in the baptistery.  I was very happy to see him especially give his heart back to God.  Pray for the work here as it is really in need of it and also in need of funds to finish some roofs before the rainy season comes.  If they do not get a roof on then they will not be able to meet for the entire season in their church, so see what you can do in this regard.  I hope all is well with you and that you are doing what you can for the Lord.  Please pray for me as I am having a bit of a time here.  The culture shock is getting to me and I need your prayers to cast Satan back into the hole from which he crawled out of.  Have a great day and I look forward to your email.  Bye for now and God bless and keep you in His care.

Hi Terry,

Some of the preachers like it when I come down and preach because they cannot preach strong sermons because the brethern complain to the conference but when I do it they think oh this is a foreigner and we will listen to him.  In that way it is good because maybe their hearts will be pricked.  It is sad when a pastor cannot preach the truth because people do not like.  Nothing changes does not matte what part of the world you are in. Thanks for the encouragement, I need it.  Have a great day and do the work so we can get home sooner than later, but lets take as many as we can with us.  Amen

That sounds great Terry.  It will save me a few bucks which is better spent on the Lord's work.  Once I have a landline it will be easier as part of my ministry will be soliciting funds for the many churches that cannot afford to build and the conference cannot afford to help them.  I was reading the snares of Satan this morning in Messages to Ministers and it is exactly what is happening with our beloved church today.  I remember 26 years ago how things were and how they have changed with religious rock, anything is ok way of so many in the church.  I even had to battle others saying it was ok to eat in a cafe on the Sabbath because it was such a hassle to prepare on Friday.  This was the teacher coordinator 's wife and the teacher coordinator had a bad habit of spending money on the Sabbath also.  I thought this odd as he was the GC conference presidents son.  We have to pray for those who do not understand the values God has in His Commandments and how they do express His love to us.  I better stop, I am preaching.  Have  wonderful day and talk to you again soon.  Bye for now Terry.  God Bless and keep you.

Hello Terry,

I do not know if the last email got through to you.  My paypal account is: pakman4@hotmail.com  which is my email address that you are using to contact me.  I am interested in the email address that does not receive all the porno and other materials.  Would be nice.  I am preparing for a sermon on the Sabbath and have been praying that the Lord put someone in my path to witness to.  It works very well and I recommend it.  One way of witnessing is going to the malls and talking to people.  My wife does not understand that I am doing missionary work.  She just thinks that I am gossiping.  I am also writing a tract on the state of the dead and will try my hand at the Sabbath and other doctrine.  My wife can translate them into a few languages.  Well, I hope that this email finds you in good health.  Take care and talk to you again soon.  Bye for now and don't forget to go to prayer meeting tonight.

Your brother in Christ,

Perry Kusnezoff

p.s.  I have a few people for you to keep in your prayers.  Ferdy who tried to commit suicide, Julian who has decided to leave the church because of backstabbing.  A older gentleman who I have forgotten the name of who needs a hernia operation.  The church in Balungay, Negros Occidental who need 2000USD to finish there church.  The church in Forest Hill who need a roof 400USD and the NCC church who need half of their church completed let alone a decent ceiling etc. 1500 USD  Please pray for these people and their projects.

Hi Terry,

Hello and how are You today?  My mother is the only one helping me right now with $30 CDN a month.  There are churches that are holding crusades in Manila and this is the crusade season for some reason.  No churches are helping me financially. There is my wife and I.  Housing, depending where You live it varies but here in Manila it is A little less than a 100 plus You have to pay for Your own water and electricity.  That varies depending on how hot it is with fans etc.  Some of my friends are spending as much as 100 us a month on electricity.  We do not own as I am a foreigner and I have no desire to own.  We are both spend thrifts and are trying to keep costs down.  My wife is a Philippines by the way.  Meals are around $6 a day depending on if we treat ourselves.  If we have a treat it is much more.  A single meal can cost 2.50-3 US each and we have to have a few more meals after that.  Transportation varies but I would say that I would travel an average of 60 miles a day and on the Sabbath can be over a hundred.  I have no monthly income.  My wife makes maybe 150 a month.  I cannot work as I do not have any papers. Foreign teachers at IS make around 500 a month but they have housing provided.  Adventist pastors in the provinces make around 250 a month but housing is around 10 a month and they have their travel paid for.  They also have other benefits like health and dental etc which I do not have.  I will be doing a crusade and it will cost me around 300 just for the travel there and another 300 for the travel back.

There is another Lay Pastor in Mindoro.  His number is 09205313952 I do not know his email address.  You can text him as this is the most popular mode of communication here as the cell calls are very expensive.  The conference knows that I am here but they have no money to support me.  They want to hire more native pastors but cannot afford to do that either.  This is a very poor country and most of the churches are in various stages of repair or construction unless there is a relative in NA that can help build the church.  My mission area is the Philippines and I am a lay pastor and singing evangelist/ preacher.  A large title for someone who only wants to be a vessel for the Lord to fill so everyone around can see Jesus and learn that He is Lord.  My address is Block 4 Lot 58, Earth St., Estrella Homes Subdivision II, Deparo, Caloocan City, Philippines. 1421  The best way to get money to me would be Western Union and the second best would be paypal.  Sending money in the mail is not good as so much mail is stolen and registered is so expensive.  Money orders take time to clear and so do checks.  If You wanted to You could sent a money order/ certified cheque registered.  That would work also.  I have a lot of need for churches here and would like to convert a bus so we can travel and just stay on the bus and not have to go back home all the time because we would be at home.  My wife is excited about the idea and all we need is the money to do it with.  I have a feeling it would be around 20,000. to buy and convert a bus but then we would not have to pay rent etc.  I have need for the completion of a church in Negros for 2000 and the roof for anther church for almost 400.  If there is extra do not worry I will be sure to find another church that can use the money.  One of the problems here is that the brethern have a tendency to spend the money on themselves at times like one church that received money from the conference to finish the church but the treasurer went on a long expensive holiday instead and the church is still half finished.  That would not happen with me.  I have been an Adventist for 26+ years and have gone to school for theology.  I finally have a place that wants me to preach and I am excited about the opportunity.  I hope this finds You well and that the Lord will lead Your heart to give the way He wants You to give.  Whatever Your decision is fine.  God bless and keep the faith as the Lord is coming sooner than we know and realize.  Take care and I look forward to Your next email.  Bye for now.

Your brother in Christ.

Another email from Perry 1st return 2/26/04

Hello Brother Terry,

Hope all is well with You and yours.  I am in the Philippines living in Manila at the moment until the Lord tells me to go somewhere else to do His work.  I am married to a Filipina.  I am a singing lay evangelist preacher.  I have been preaching the word, I mean the WORD,  not some watered down version of it.  I am not worthy of it but I have the gift of the gab and the Lord is using it to spread the truth to a dying world that is in dire need of salvation.  I will be going down to Negros in April to do a multi-week evangelism seminar and possibly a youth evangelism seminar when I get back to Manila in May.  I cannot tell You how much it means to me to preach.  I know it is the working of the Lord and I give Him all the glory being hid behind the Cross at all times least my arrogance and pride take the glory to myself.  During the day I do what a lay pastor friend of mine told me he does.  He prays that the Lord will put someone in his path that He can witness to and it works time and time again.  It is such a pleasure to talk so fervently to people who want to know what the truth is and who are willing to listen to the common sense of Bible truths.  I would love to convert a bus into a mobile home so we can go from place to place preaching the word.  We would have everything with us so we would not have to go home etc..  I have had so many churches request help to finish building there church so it will not rain inside and destroy it when the rainy season comes.  So I guess I am into actually building the churches by providing money to the places that do not have the money to build.  One church I help build by collecting money in Canada was told by their breathern that they would never finish the church.  The have the structure up but need cement to plaster the inside and outside walls to keep the bricks standing.  The need cement for a floor and need  to build an anti room at one entrance.  The need approximately 2500 Canadian or 2000 US to complete it.  One other church needs the metal roof so the rain does not come inside, only CAN 500 US 400.  The list goes on brother.  I know a young boy who has a severe cleft lip that would have been fixes in Canada as a toddler but is growing with it and also have a knarled hand that needs some work.  The need here is great and I know that it is hard to get people to help but I also know that the Lord is able if we are faithful.  I do not know if this is the answer to Your question.  Oh, by the way, it is God's ministry He is just using me to do it, praise the Lord for His goodness toward us.  I am just looking for some faithful brethern who are willing to give a small amount or whatever they are impressed to give to help this ministry.  The idea that come to me was if 100 people give $5 a month I can live on that and go to the places I am called to preach and witness for.  I am an Adventist, not an off shoot.   I believe that the church is going through no matter what anyone does or tries to do to prevent it.  We have been given this assurance and I know that he Lord will not let us down.  His faithful, He just wants us to be faithful too.  Brother Terry,  I do not know how You can help.   I want to let You know that I am not interested in resting on my laurels or going to some resort.  I want to go home to heaven.  No place on earth interests me anymore.  I am tired and want to go home to my Jesus and spend the rest of my life with Him and all those who choose Him.  I pray that this is Your desire also.  I hope You can help me in this Ministry.  I thank you for Your interest and look forward to Your reply.  Take care and God Bless and use You for His work until He comes in the clouds of glory to take us home to heaven with Him.  Bye for now.
